| Please understand that when you enter the chatroom, there will be someone's nickname in the room, however they might not be sitting at their PC when you enter. In fact, it might be several hours before anyone is actually at their PC to see that you have entered the room. You can still type your message or comments to post in the room because we have a autobot idling in the room which records and provides information. Enter your desired nickname or name in the edit box below and select the larger size window option if your PC screen resolution is larger than 800 by 600. It will take a 10-20 seconds on DSL and longer if you're on dial-up. |
| Most Microsoft Vista operating systems won't be able to log into the chatroom using the method above due to the security protection software in Vista which detects older Java Chat Applets as threats -- which they are NOT. There is a way to get past this problem for Vista users, but it's much easier to use a Chat Client we can provide for you to download onto your PC. All you'll have to do is click and you'll be automatically logged into the chatroom. Download the 919 kb zip file to any place on your PC. Go to the place and right click the "SOS-Chat-Client.zip" folder to view a popup menu, select and click "Extract All" It should automatically extract the file to the same location and open, double click on the unzipped SOS-Chat-Client folder and follow the instructions in the "Read Me First.txt" file -- See you in the chatroom. |
